So, we saw the movie on Saturday. Let me tell you, Taken is a very well put together story/movie. Not to go into too many details, cause I don't want to spoil it, the main character was presented very believable and the plot was very well developed (despite the comments from a fellow that was last to leave the theater with us) and well timed.
From a film makers standpoint, the rapid pace of the shots was very well used and the stunt work was developed in a way that can give the audience a reason to believe that Liam's character could in fact be the guy they described him to be.

I, too, thought the movie was well done. After taking the first fifteen minutes to establish characters, give us a reason to care for their plight, present the Liam character as very capable in tense situations, it was off to the races. It was the most intense movie i have seen in years. I'm talking white knuckle on the chair arms. All the action scenes were well choreographed and edited. But, bottom line, it is the intensity that Liam Neeson brought to the role that made it all work. Liam could have made a career in the action genre, had he been inclined.
